Supplies Needed:
3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (White and Red) Lined Alligator Clip Hot Glue Gun & Glue
Scissors Lighter
Cut your ribbon.
1 - Red 11 1/2", 1 Red 9 1/2", 2 Red 2 1/2" 2 - White 9 1/2"
Heat seal all of your ribbon ends.
Stack your four ribbons together. Your long red piece should be on top. The ends on one side should be lined up evenly. You can use your lighter to heat the ends and pinch them together.
Begin rolling your ribbon. Take the ends that are lined up together and tuck them in.
Continue rolling until you reach the end of the ribbon. Make sure your candy is flat on both sides.
Trim your ribbon ends. Leave the top piece just a little longer than the other three. Heat seal the ends.
Hot glue the ends down around the circle.
Line your alligator clip with matching ribbon or use a lined alligator clip.
Hot glue your "candy" to the center of the clip.
Take your two small red pieces and fold them in half, crease the center.
Put a dab of hot glue on the center crease of your ribbon, glue it to the top center of the candy.
Put a dab of hot glue on the center crease of your ribbon, glue it to the bottom center of the candy.
Make sure it is lined up evenly with the piece you placed at the top.
Fold your bottom right piece down onto the clip and glue it.
Fold your bottom left piece down onto the clip and glue it.
Fold your top right piece down across the ribbon piece already there and glue it down.
Fold your top left piece down across the ribbon piece already there and glue it down.
This finishes the "wrapper" around your peppermint candy and it's also a "wrap" on this tutorial ;)
