I bought these to attach polymer clay decorations to (I made cute things like stars and bows). These are fantastic for it. They stay in your hair really well. Know these small barrettes DO have holes in them that goes all the way through, aka you can sew things to them (but the 45mm size does not). They took my E6000 glue great too to glue hard decorations to them (but I'd recommend roughing up the surface with sandpaper or an exacto for extra security). They also take hot melt glue well too.
